You might have 6 gears, I only have 5.
Last time I competed at Goodwood, I chose to ride the limiter in 4th (about 125ish) rather that completely sh1t myself by taking 5th to find the next corner approaching too fast.
or should I say TOO FAST!!!
It's an awesome venue but it has to be done.
2006 I did 111
2007 down to 107
2008 2 lapper 211 and I remember the brakes were cooked. M3 CSL was round in 190.

Car went from Wimbledon carriage company to Trip Toor.

I looked at it when I was in the market. Nice engine bay but patchy paint.

We did an extra run and unfortunately, he scraped the tyre wall at the chicane and made a bit of a mess of the side of his car

Now for sale at Sussex cars and look at the description:

this one has not been used for racing and the condition shows that

Have you got a picture of the damaged side so we can warn prospective buyers.

I'm thinking of an ebay listing "Photo of a damaged car raced and crashed at Goodwood" for 99p so it comes up along with a search for the car for sale

Hi All,

Just starting to find my way round the forums... as the new owner of the photo'd Spider at Goodwood.

Have been back to Goodwood with it three times this year already although not for track actions - Revival and Breakfast Clubs.

When I bought it, it did come with an invoice for c£500 for repairs, including new mirror, courtesy of the Goodwood barriers and a confession from Wimbledon Carriages as to the cause.

Mr Toor eventually coughed up the accessories for the car at an almost reasonable price so now all back together again for the first time in many years - including the 'hood' although to be fair, this is more like a temporary tent!

Hi Graham, well done for getting any accessories from Trip, let alone at a reasonable price

Ha ha. I wasn't expecting it to take a month's worth of discussion and it was certainly an interesting experience

Pleased I saw it through in the end though and always a pleasure to nose around a rare Aston (his Vantage Volante wide body in his case)
