Odd bits needed

Postby rupert » Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:35 pm

Not sure if these are available at Renault, does anyone know?

The external door release rubber surround seals - both sides.

The plastic trim that goes around the fan controls.

If anyone has any old central locking motors knocking around I'd be interested too.

Thanks

Thanks Martin,

In that case I will visit the dealer tomorrow.

And also ask if anyone has an undamaged square plastic fan switch panel surround.

... and now...

Engine bay temp sensor for an atmo.... oh and a mounting bracket too!
(maybe these are still available? though prob not the bracket!)

Door release motor thing.... one needed as one of mine just doesn't want to work.

A central locking motor.... ditto

And the least likely... the set of four switches on the RHS of the dash with the two blank switches set up for Air con... I can swap for a normal set!

Temp sensors were available last year from Renault......and it is quite possible the release motors are available also as I got one from them not so long ago

As far as I can tell from PR1132, this is what is listed (verbatim):

Right-hand (O/S)
Horizontal motor
60 01 018 101

Vertical Motor
77 01 030 064 + (59) 77 01 038 252- 1-
77 01 033 803 + (60) 77 01 367 539- 1-
77 01 034 489

Left-hand (N/S)
Horizontal motor
60 01 018 101

Vertical Motor
77 01 030 063 + (59) 77 01 038 252- 1-
77 01 033 802 + (60) 77 01 367 539- 1-
77 01 034 489

No idea why there are multiples listed for the Vertical, nor why they would be different for LH & RH, and yet the last number is in fact identical for both sides :? Go figure

The Horiozontal motor is the one for the door opening, which is the same for both sides, the other is for the door lock which are different for each side, and there is a model change around 1988/89 where they use different door lock solinoids,.... that may be why there are multiple numbers for them.
