Top 4 init according to that list, depends how accurate the numbers and round etc.. but as soon as you stick the tall fat rubber on there that will be gone - tyre air drag (churn) is a big factor..
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

Must admit that I did know the GTA coefficient was 0.28 and that it was impressively low but I wouldn't have known about the others on the list.

I'm impressed by the Maserati Bora being 0.30, gorgeous automobile that it is!

The thing that always irked me is this: if my GTA is so low drag how come it's so fond of drinking fuel? :roll:

You must have an atmo.
The turbo can return 40MPG.
Well it can unless you tweak it......

Renault are well known for producing cars with a low drag co-efficient.

This will suprise you which Renault has this drag co-efficent?

Drag Coefficient, 0.310, only a very little way behind the GTA?

Any guesses :?:

I understood that the drag of a car was the cD factor times the frontal area.

Also that the Atmo was slightly more aerodynamic.... due to the slightly narrower tyres.

Cd x frontal area gives effective frontal area - ie equivalent size if it were the shape of a brick.

Drag starts to play a major part on motorways for extended periods.

Higher performance cars tend to have higher Cd's due to trading off some drag for downforce. Interesting to see the GT-R there for this reason.

Well that depends on which relic you refer sir :lol: its not the Fanararri (Fiat) :lol: :lol: :lol: but it may be something he does own and you might not expect it to have such a low drag coefficient :shock:
