polyurethane panels

Does any body know exactly what type of polyurethane that the nose and front wings are made of, if they are repairable ie plastic welding?
I remember there was a code or stamping on the inside maybe sombody has one off at the moment ,it may help with identification thanks.

Fairly sure it's not polyurethane, more likely polypropylene

good day mate where's this alpine bodyshop in australia, thats a rare find you've got less cars down there than we have.look if you've got a crack in your plastic just cut a piece out of a 9 inch sandwich [ thats a beer can to you pomms ] and just stick it up the back that should hold it together

only joking chris you'll probably find most automotive plastics will plastic weld or fuse back together with heat. there are also some very good repair products as well, 2pack adhesives and jointing tapes make for a good strong repair. i've used this companies products befor, you should have them down under aswell, good luck.

I have wings and nosecone off at the moment but can't find a recycle/mat mark on either .
PP or PU ,both have the same properties when it comes to glue which is they don't like it .Very 'oily' and makes it difficult for the glue to adhere .

Sorry , I meant in the Alpine workshop manual it said polyurethane .
And its you Brits that we call poms (light heartedly)

A few of the GTA,s Down under I noticed that the nosecone is sunken down a bit maybe the heat did it .

My wings req a little trim with the 17 "wheels . When raised in the air the tyres touch the bottom corner hence inquiring about plastic welding .

Also i am a bit confused about the Black car B19 GTA as to what exactly is on the front of the car ,is it LeMans or A610 it does not look like either.
How available are these parts over there.

This seem to be a problem with early GTA, it was actually the headlight heat and a combination of sun light that was making them sink.

These panels cannot be repaired with glue guns etc. I have tried various different types of glues and heats with no luck.
