Track width and adapters.

Hi guys,

What are the standard track widths (front and rear) on a GTA, and on a Le-Mans?

Does anyone supply wheel adapters to increase the track width?

Track widths (center of tyre to center of tyre):-
Front 1493mm
Rear 1462mm

I want to increase the track width of the rear by about 110mm, so need 55mm hubcentric adapters. Anyone got any leads?

All is possible .....I can get them made to any spec . I think there is a German outfit on Ebay that lists for GTA .

Just to confirm - the Alpine GTA uses a 4x100 PCD - but I'm unsure of the centre bore size?

I seem to think 60.1 mm bore rings a bell.

not sure if they are 55mm quite wide i say 30mm however.

Hub position on a standard GTA and Le Mans is the same.

Any track difference is due to wheel offset only, so yes spacers would recreate the effect.

They only do 30mm though .

I bought hubscentric spacers for my Lemans on e-bay and they were about 30 mm as Clee says, however do not be tempted by anything other than hubscentric this is correct and safe way to do this. TBH not sure I would want to go any wider than an 30mm though.

They would be 60.1 to 60.1 spigot I assume but custom made anyway by the looks so you could spec to go to a different size and possibly bolt pattern

If you contact a firm called Demon Tweeks in Wrexham they are agents for Braid Racing Wheels. This firm does spacers for all makes of cars.

Here's a picture of their spacers, hope this helps.

I have 25mm on the rears on mine, with my off set and rather low suspension thats all the arches could take. I bought them from the web from a site suggested by DG.
