Does anyone know what their postage costs are like?
I'm told lead times are certainly very good.
Anyone want to club together for a group-buy or at least save a few bob on the postage?

No not really ..................Postage is the norm but I wouldn't care if it weren't .The main advantage is that the stuff does turn up ,is correct and on the doorstep faster than any UK supplier .

Agree with Clee. Rediculously quick delivery considering its from Germany (usually 2-3 days), has most things you need and the service is spot on (they speak perfect English!) I guess the cost of postage varies on what you order but it has always been reasonable for me.

Ditto last couple of comments. Andreas Simon is extremely helpful and his packing and postal service really is second to none. He is easy to deal with, corrects mistakes instantly and always pays for any return postage if things aren't right. Typically he charges about 15 euros per package (even paid that for a pair of rear wheels in one box!). His parts prices are not necessarily cheap (a few are) but he will give you a discount as a RAOC club member - usually around 10% - if you ask nicely!

Second all that.

They are very good. I enquired about some A610 wiper arms a while back when no-one including Simon Auto had them in stock. A few weeks/months later, Andreas emailed me out of the blue to let me know he had just got some (I hadn't even placed an order). I did then and it cost me less than £50 the pair including postage.

Very quick, prices reasonable - and sometimes they have 2nd hand parts from donor cars. A bit of competition for BigMVS!

Stephen, Just on the back of this, I think it could be a good jesture for the club to make Andreas an honary member of the club.
Maybe he can then give better discounts to RAOC paid up members too.
He can check our on-line status with RAOC Avatar logo. SHould be good for his business too.

you will still have to post the bits out UK so I really don't see the point .I do need a few bits from him but it's really not worth the hassle and extra time now is it .

I agree with Simon that it would be a good idea to make contact with Andreas to see what's possible with the club.

Tend to agree with Clee about re-distributing the parts once they've arrived in the UK, though.
