Can somebody explain the itinerary for this trip for a first timer.

What does it involve, how many days away from home etc.

Is it a tent job or hotel?

Cheers Jason

Check this out Jason:

http://www.renaultalpineownersclub.com/ ... php?t=3917

It's hotel and lots of wine mixed with high speed driving as far as I'm led to believe. Reputation has it as the best RAOC event of the year

I'm still in the process of getting enough brownie points stored but again it's the bread knifes/little boy's Birthday's on those dates so it's looking bleak again I'm afraid

Hi Jason,

You and Juzz should definitely come. The hotel, food and wine during the rally are included in the package.. We've previously gone Friday to Monday but it would be good to add a couple of days at the start to make the most of being in the region. This is still to be aranged/organised with everyone. The roads are excellent and the rally takes you through beautiful countryside well worth it!

Big MVS hope you earn enough brownie points!

Tony

I think I am right in saying that the 2011 event will be the 20th Anniversary of this Rally so I expect all the stops will be pulled out for it.......however I did hear a rumor earlier this year that it also might be the last. Perhaps Andy can confirm or rebuff that rumor. Whatever it is, its a cracking event and should not be missed, so for those that keep saying that they would like to go on it some time.....time might just be running out

Jason, you might like to watch this video filmed by Jules`s better half Nikki, of the 2010 event which gives you some idea of what goes on:-
