HI my name is Syd Harris I live just outside Manchester, my interests are cars and surfing I have owned my GTA for 9 years up to 2 years ago it was my daily driver but is now retired to infrequent use .I also have a hot rod (Ford Pop small block ford ) and a trio of VW,s but my prefered car is the alpine, cannot be beaten for comfort and power although they do get odd electrical faults which can be evil to cure

Well boredom must have kicked in, it's 6 years to the month this thread was started, and no activity since... some still here, some gone. But there are many new members since then. Time for updates peeps?

I'm Faulksie.. Martin but Big M is the M man  , I have met a few of you since I joined back at the end of '08 .. kinda slowly I guess, been more of a background sorta chap, as engines is my thing more than the cars, and only got involved in Reno stuff because of PRV engine projects. I have an atmo body / chassis that at some point will pop out the pod as track car, but other things to finish first though. At some stage I will put up a thread on Lui's car (blue one on the RR thread), my first GTA project that turned into a labour of love.

Right so, as Mr C pointed out, too many ports to be a messin' and not enough time, so seize'n'sleeze to you all... ain't the weather turned off?! Bum...
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

Well I 'spose I better join in hehehehehehehehe I don't really like posting personal info on things like the Internet.

But I guess a little won't harm.

I'm 42 . Short n stocky doorman. I am an ex boot neck and a retired firefighter. Now I just have my own wedding fleet.

Heavily into bodybuilding of the human kind and snowboarding.

I had my first A610 when I was very young and could not really appreciate it. Eldorado really got me into them.

Love my lambo maybe a little more than my A610 but as I will not be parting with either I class myself as very lucky. I just wish I could drive the A610 sometimes.

I am not religious although the bible is a dam good read as I believe there is always room for some self improvement.

Anytime the club comes to Bristol look me up.

Andy.......

The boring stuff is that I am teetotal and always have been. Never tried smoking, drinking or drugs of any kind.

No tattoos or piercings O and I hate any ball game no matter who or what country is playing.

Always been into fitness having just completed my 20 year at Goshin Ju-jitsu.

Into F1 (Alonso and Vettel) and the tour de france. (Armstrong)

AND I love my fiancée JO very much lol............

there must be something inside.... adam and the ants
have you joined this club
http://www.gccg.org.uk/
I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THIS CLUB AND WILL NEVER BE JOINING
join the RAOC, stop sending your, cars to dick heads that dont know a dipstick from a driveshaft there are members in this club who know every nut and bolt on the A610. i am a paint and body specialist and have worked in this field for over 25 years, 7 years with renault dealerships and when i joined this club i was amazed at the knowledge some of the club members have [ YOU KNOW WHO I MEEN ] :D :D :D
ask them where you should take the car to have it sorted, it might not be just around the corner but they WILL FIX IT ...FIRST TIME ...AND FOR GOOD.
then you can drive one of the greatest cars ever made and come along to some of our meetings
oh buy the way, ive been drinking and smoking. ive parked up my gta v6 turbo cause im on a plane to majorca in the morning. this gives you 10 days to get your car sorted
ILL BE BACK

I,m Pat, age 36, live in Dublin, Ireland , introduced to GTA,s at a drink filled Renault Dealership launch in 1986 (I was dragged along by my Dad) Loved A110's et all before that. My brother eventually bought one of the launch cars (red atmo) At 17 yrs old, I took it for a trip round Ireland with a mate of mine, fell completely in love with them then
Since then , I have owned 3 turbo's and 3 atmo's, a Le mans and an A610 aswell as some 5 gordini's

Currently running an Atmo, A Le mans and an A610

PS- A610 is doing the Cannonball Run Ireland next week  She performed well at Le mans

Right, I am new here, so thought I had best say hello. My name is Marco, and am a matelot for my sins. Have recently taken over the care of our family GTA atmo which has been with us since the early 90s and will be undertaking a slow restoration/ refresh of her over the next few months, when funds and work allow. Currently drive a legacy gtb as my daily and have a 3rd gen RX7 getting fettled to become my hooligan car. Ironicly having to spend a good few 1000s to get it to feel like the alpine....
Anyone got a drivers door for sale? mine only has one hinge atm!
