Can the dedicated Webmaster sort the issues with the forum please?

It takes 2 goes at everything

Steve, Rob (rottbott) has offered to take the forum on remember.... the man knows what he's doing....

I've not been able to get onto the whole site at all for 5 days. By the looks of it, there are plenty of posts so it must just have been an issue relating to my computer. Every other web site I've been on to has worked fine though? Weird.

i've had the 2 clicks to open problem too and it's not the first time it's happened either.......

time to change hosts maybe Mr D?

......the worst I had was a lenghtly PM which disappeared the moment I went to submit it........I now right click & copy now before submitting.......just in case.

Apparently the server had a DDOS attack whatever that is and it caused a few firewall issues when they were fixing it.

There is also random packet loss to the hosting server, which is why people are having to keep hitting refresh to get the pages up.
The fact the hosting server is in Houston Texas does not help. Not exactly next door.......
