Does anyone fancy a bit of cheap fun club motorsport.
FDMC is running a loose surface event, you dont need an MOT, Tax, Insurance, helmet, overalls, gloves ...... just a car and £25.
YES, I said "DONT"
It is a 3 stage event, 3 goes at each stage, RWD is best (most fun) and you car is assured to get very dirty.
Some of the local guys just use their MX5s, because they seem to be pretty much bullet proof, maybe putting special tyres on the rear just for this event. By special, that means hard compound budget jobs.
And to keep costs down, you can have 2 drivers sharing the same car.

and some "ripe" cars .... could be had on ebay or at auction for £100.
You'll get your money back for them by resale or even scrapping them.

I am told by the experts that a 3 series BMW is a great car for this sort of thing...... oh yes, there are 2 drivers entered already in 318s.
ANyone got a rash one going spare? It'll get a car wash before it is returned

Guys, If anyone would like to be a helper for the day you will be made very welcome. just need a couple of bodies to be timekeepers. Stopwatch start/stop and write the time on the drivers card. and it can be a lot easier and fun if you bring a mate (guys or girls) too.
Nothing too serious, it is more of a fun event. If the time keeper gets it wrong, the driver just gets another go and no one minds.
Starts at 9-30 and will finish by 5.
Even if you could just help in the am, or the pm. thats great.
Deepcut is between J3 and J4 on the M3.
