This Helmet no longer meets the newest MSA standards, because it does not have a fireproof lining.
You can wear a fireproof balaclava if you want that sort of protection.
It is perfectly suitable for cxasual go-karting, some trackdays and maybe general motorcycle use too (as it has a ACU sticker on it too).
I have used it for sprinting and hillclimbing for the last 3 or so years and it is honestly in pretty good condition, not perfect, some minor scratches.
