Postby phildini » Sun Sep 05, 2010 2:37 pm

THE BORE IS 19mm AND THE UNIT IS MADE BY BEDNDIX. TRYING THE USUAL ROUTES FLEABAY ETC... SOME GIVE YOU THE BORE SIZE BUT NOT THE SIZE OF THE SEAL CENTRE.

AND BEFORE ANYONE MENTIONS IT, IT'S NOT THE SAME AS THE GTA!

LOL THE FERRARI ONE IS ONLY £155

Have you tried a R25 V6 repair kit? (7701203326) they were around £35 from Renault last year when I repaired one.

I dont think they are the same, do you have a picture of one?

Mr MVS can you please post a picture of a GTA clutch master, they do a repair kit for the GTA.............. You must have one kicking around in your garage.

Cheers for the link CLEE, if all fails I will contact those guys.

So once again I am staring at the car! and not much driving experience!

Master on the left, slave on the right,

As far as I know it's just the outer casting & fittings which are differant.

Forget Renault. It will probably be on backorder and cost you a minor limb!!

I got my last one from Simon Automobiltecknic for less than £100 for a new A610 master cylinder delivered. The seal kit is about £25 from memory but not worth bothering in my opinion as there is bound to be some damage to the bore.

If they are out of stock, you should be able to get a general brake specialist to rebuild your own unit. I can't see that being more than £100 maximum.
