Great days driving. Would have loved to have done the second day as well. Hope everyone enjoyed the overnight stay and has a safe journey back on Sunday. Nice to meet everyone again (or for the first time) and thanks to Andrew for organising the event so well.

Yes, cool pics chaps and a great weekend. And the weather was mostly kind to us, especially today. Thanks to Andrew again for organising it, especially the run up Stwlan Dam. I'll post some of my pics up soon, although they'll look very similar! :D

Sheds in the shed !

Postby k1ano » Sun Aug 22, 2010 8:18 pm

Well I got back home OK this afternoon and bailing out at Bangor ... I fully intended to re-join you all but it was not to be unfortunately - it certainly looked like the weather in Wales was stunning this afternoon :-)

I managed to get to Halfords OK and the two members of staff that greeted me in the car park couldn't help enough - they were Vee fans. I tried 2 new batteries with the same symptoms as before - even though my old battery was found to be faulty. We had to bump start the car and I drove it home and will have it looked at this week, but I now suspect the starter or solenoid. It just goes to show that it's not always the oldest cars which let you down either.

I have to say it was a real pleasure coming along on this meet. I had a great time meeting you all and enjoying the roads which Andrew had planned - especially the private road upto the hydro dam yesterday :-)

I trust you all got home safely and enjoyed the weekend too. I will post some pictures is any are found to complement the fantastic ones posted above.
