RAOC Tour of Wales 21st 22nd August

I've had to make a slight alteration to Friday night, we are all booked in at The Bridge pub/restaurant for 7pm. (I tried to get it later but they are not available.)

I know this is earlier than planned, if this is a problem, then I can cancel it and find somewhere else.

! am OK with that as I will be there quite early, so what time do you want us to meet now? .....suggest in reception/bar at Hotel in case of rain

As John suggested, we should meet in the reception at the Talardy at about 6.30 if that's ok with everyone ?
The reason why I've chosen the bridge for a meal is that it's a very good one, and it's not too expensive. The Plough and the other ones tend to get very rowdy on a Friday night.

Jules...Sorry to hear you wont make it in the Alp, however as you have booked everything, any chance of comming in another car,,, I am sure no one will mind under the circumstances

I agree with John, if you can make it another car, then you should come as it is a really good weekend. I had a minor issue with my Alpine last year so had to come in my daily driver and had great fun hustling the old girl to keep up with the Alp's.

I am also hoping to be arriving early at tallardy as i am hoping to leave early Friday morning to beat the congestion charge! I can then cruise up in fifth amd sa e as much fuel as i can for the drivers roads

Anybody want to meet up on route? Think the sensible route is M25, M40, M42 - went up the M1 last week its riddled with contraflows for miles. Think myself, Steve and Si will probably meet somewhere on route - anybody else want to join our CONVOY? And I'm not bringing the GTA as I'm looking forward to the food and I don't want it to be motorway services food!

I'll be going by the M56 saturday morning if anyone else is going that way.

I start out at Junction 14 M56 Hapsford Services if anyone wants to meet there.
