Quite fancy the 0- 60 but never done anything like that before.I,ll get slaughtered, but it would be good have a go.The car will still be pretty standard so it would be interesting to see how it stacks up against the rest. Will give it a go

Stephen,
Are you looking at a group/club booking for this or should we book individually :?:

Reserve your place on the club stand with me.

Book the GT Battle event you want to participate in directly using the forms downloaded from the links given by Lex.

If you participate in the Zero-60 you can also park on the club stand.

If you participate in the time attack you'll have to park in the designated area for that.

Let me know what you've entered though!

Lex, does that sound right!!

I'm having trouble with my rear tyres.
Firstly I can only get copeous amounts of smoke, like the posted pictures, in first gear. I guess I need double the HP to do this in second and 4 times as much nerve to cope with the extra speed while drifting on the throttle in second. It really does not cut any ice practicing in the wet, it just develops into a horrible mess without much warning. I think itz best to leave the drift boyz to fight it out amongst them selves.
Also, my Yokahama boot's r wearing fast.
Stephen, I'd go on a stand, but will need replacement glass struts for it.

Im there for sure!!! Put me down for the stand as well.

Had a play in a Mini Cooper S there the other day, the internal track is pretty chanlenging even in a Mini so it should be a good laugh in an Alpine.

When do we need to have the entrance list in for?

Rear engined drifting

Postby Tony Smith » Sat Apr 23, 2005 4:08 pm

Err no-one uses rear engined cars for drifting! Too hard to hold on the limit!

Sounds good fun.... esp. if I've spent my £1500 at ART by then !
Trouble is it clashes with Goodwood FOS.... not sure if the other half is going to be too happy about going to Rockingham Saturday then Goodwood next... Pencil me in though...

Tony, technically my rear-engined drifting is more like doughnutting.
