John would love to see your car!

The car is kind of sold, just waiting for the buyer recovery driver to come down and pick it up and pay up, hopefully Wed.

My fleet is slowly coming down to a reasonable number. Now down to 6 cars plus Volvo towing car.

Steve's is a nice car and runs well.

My white car has always run well and is my favourite GTA I have owned, turbo or atmo. It did set on fire though

Tony, if you get a chance tell Steve not to do a private listing if he re-lists. Always puts budders off because they think dodgy shill bidding is going on, especially now identities are partially hidden anyway. I told Alvin the same thing.

Sorry I meant that Steve Meluish's car was my first Alpine (that might have reduced it's price somewhat  )

Anyway, as Steve has said the best sale avenue's in my opinion is a Ebay classified ad, or Piston Heads.

The ebay one in particular is a one off fee, and stops the "what's your reserve/buy it now?" or "I have a MR2 based Ferrari 355, would you give me your A610 and £10k for it?" Fack OFFFFFFF timewasters!!

CGB Motorsport, No messing about

Only six cars left, three more to go.

Also I will be selling my super reliable Volvo 940 Estate Auto, 2.3 turbo High Pressure, M reg with only 80k, not the usual 200k you find on Autotrader. 2 owners, Full leather with heated seats.Full Service history, a lot from Volvo, Just had done Gold service which included new brake fluid, transmission fluid etc...... also only a month ago replaced rad.& expansion bottle with all Antifreeze. This vehicle has also been fitted with a new witter tow bar.

I have it on my classic insurance and it only cost me £50 per year, yes thats right £50 SQUIDS

£1300....... expensive? then go out and buy one with 200k!

Well for starters it's half the price and half the miles, also we all know that TURBO fetch more money than those crappy old carbed ATMO's

Apologise in advance to anyone who owns an ATMO, but it's true! ( oh sh*t I probably started a 50 pages long thread now, on why an ATMO is better than a Turbo )

Personal opinion counts for a lot you know. !

I sent this guy an e-mail telling himt to check out the site and that he was being unrealistic and he just came back with a long rant about how it will be worth 20k in 3 years time

It's down to £10k in 3 years now

Here are some questions people (maybe someone on here  ) have asked:

Q: Howdy Cowboy, If indeed you have the car we all want why not re-list (when it fails to sell yet again) on a 0.99p no reserve auction to see what it's really worth??? In the meantime stick to selling cowboy boots.... 31-Jul-10
A: Ye, Howdy yerself, DREAM ON! (and start saving!) See, dude, last time I listed a pair of c-boots for 99p - they sold for just that 99p! I do have an idea what you can do with the 99p though... I will put the car in storage and sell it for TEN Grand in three years! Watch this space! The Main Hog (My name is on the log book!!) I have turned down £3400.00 So, go cry in your beer!
Q: Hey there fella! Would you please take some more pics of the passenger side of the car please. I hav'nt quite got the feel for it yet! ££££???? How much! Really??? 30-Jul-10
A: Hi, I've driven the motor to Nottingham / however I'm in London... ... Wait I had a thought... THERE ARE SO MANY pics IN THE LISTING I DON'T THINK IT'S NECESSARY... All I can say is people are making a big fuss about passenger door being a slightly different shade of white - I have used the car as is (?!!!) why? The shade didn't bother me - you will not notice that shade-variation unless you study photos! Bottom line is: It's the engine that moves the car and not the colour! If you are gonna be putting the car in shows - then I suggest a respray! Hit that button n "MAKE-AN-OFFER"! If you offer me silly money - I will turn you down! (I will be generous and allow lots of dosh for a respray)! If I give you my bottom price - you will still try to offer me less! I have the car you want! You put the money together! Have I lost you! Again, if one buys the car - one should consider respraying it... there a various small scratches on the bonnet (just above the number plate)... some idiot in jeans have been sitting on the bonnet and the scratches are from that idiot's ar*e! The Hog with the car you want!
Q: yes yes yes!, just come down in price to £1480, and i will have it, spray it all the same colour, not different colour front and back like it is now!!!! this car has sat in your front yard looking folorn for years... get real 25-Jul-10
A: No! No! No! Let me SAY THAT AGAIN! N O ! I've turned down serious money... You - START SAVING! Find another project for your ££?!!!! You get real-ly lucky!

I'm off to sob in my Stella......
