All the tickets now sent.

I do have some spare Car Passes (pm me if you want one) so if you still wish to attend with your car I can get you onto the stand but you will have to pay on the gate.

Just had confirmation of where we are:

Dear Club Organizer,

Above is a plan of the Club area please make sure all you members attending know to enter by “Gate 2” followed by the block (A,B,C or D) then by access “Row” 1 or 2.

· There will be traffic congestion, please beat the traffic and arrive on Friday

· Please do not take your vehicle off the pitch unless in a emergency

· A shuttle bus will be available to take you to the campsite between 4pm and 8pm on Friday (it is only a short walk)

· Vehicles arriving after 8am on Saturday or Sunday may be directed to the public car park.

· Please ensure that the attached pitch list is circulated to your members displaying vehicles. It is imperative that everyone knows exactly where their pitch is before arrival to lessen the chance of queuing.

We are on pitch number 64, enter via gate 2 then Block B, Row 2.

As said above please arrive before 8am if possible.

Any problems please call me - 07768 728980

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Cheers,

Martin

Errmm get up earlier maybe? I live more than 10 miles away, where are you staying by the way?

Like I said on the phone andy I think it's scaremongery to get as many in as possible as early as possible. I think you will be ok getting in after 8am but don't blame me if you can't, I am only the messenger.

reading the info from the organisers, it seems they want it all their own way. im sure im not the only one wanting to display a car on a club stand and then drive the car away saturday night to get to thier hotel and return sunday morning for the second day. if they invite clubs along you would think they could allocate an entrance gate for these cars. im not shooting the messenger it just seems a bit naf.

Trust me mate, I'm driving it away Saturday night whether they like it or not. I think what they are saying is you need to be there as early as possible both days. No-one can expect 1500 cars to be left over-night. I can only drive one car at a time!!

Yeah, I live not too far away so I'l be going and coming back. I was intending to just get up very early. I suppose we could all turn up in convoy and they'd have to let us in.

Guys don't panic!

I think they mean don't move your car unless in an emergency during the day. I will certainly be taking my car home with me and this was the case last year (I only left mine there because I was on a p£ss up in Nantwich on the Sat night).

So to summarise:

Try and get there before 8am on the Sat or Sun, if not you should be ok (but please bear in mind if they get funny they have warned us).

Follow and enter through gate 2 then Black B, Row 2 and we are pitch 64.

Try not to move your car from the pitch throughout the day unless in an emergency.

You can move your car from site at the end of Saturday as all of us will be doing I guess.

Looks like typical Chod weather moving in from the Atlantic so moving the car at all might present it's own issues
