Wanted: Coolant hose.

Postby Juzzblack » Sun Jun 20, 2010 10:23 pm

Urgently need the large coolant hose for a GTA turbo; the lower one which runs from the water pump to the metal coolant pipe at the bulkhead. It also includes a smaller, shorter pipe which T's off about half way along the large hose and runs to the bottom of the expansion tank.

Mine hasn't actually split, but failed at the T piece, where the smaller hose is joined to the larger. It just appears to have failed at the join.

I've attached a picture showing the hole in the large hose and the end of the smaller hose where they're supposed to be joined together:

(the photo doesn't show them exactly in situ BTW, I was in the process of taking them off the car when I took the pic)

Hose off car:

It's item 6(h) part no. 60 01 008 704, page 83 in the Alpine parts pdf.

Really need one of these urgently if anyone has one or knows a quicker source than Renault to get a new one. Renault have told me it will be 7 - 10 days ordered from France. Obviously they don't really know how long it will take and I'm hoping to make the Le Mans Classic July 8th. So need ASAP in order to fit and test in time.

Any help, suggestions much appreciated. :)
