Help Needed!!

My GTA went up in smoke on the way back from Bromley So I need just about everything in the engine compartment. Wiring loom etc etc. Anyone know of a complete car for sale cheapish? Or a big cache of parts....Please pm and I will 'phone you. Thanks.

Oh my Paul! Sorry to hear that not good. How bad is it, nothing you can salvage? As far as loom is concerned I would talk
to Mr. CLee, he was sorting out some new ones. The loom is a real weak link, especially at the age they are getting too,
and you will almost never get any warning. I may be jumping ahead here, sorry, was it loom started or fuel leaking on to hot surfaces?

Latest... Reported to insurance co. I have agreed value and salvage rights, so that's good. The assessor is coming tomorrow; I know him through my business, so that should help! Been offered cars, bits, help - hey thanks! Keep you all posted....

Hi Paul, You really need to talk to Clee if not a new loom, he had with me a scrapper that would be useful plus I cant recommend him enough for doing work for you as he has worked magic on my car aswell.

Just hope his Nagders are up to it !!! Ohh matron he can fill you in on that

So sorry to hear about your car!! What happened?

Not sure of the cause, probably a fuel line. I renewed those a couple of years ago too! Assessor has been, he thinks it will be written off - just need it to be cat c or d. I will post a pic soon and a probable parts list. Stephen, I will talk to you about that engine and more soon. Just going to wait for the insurance co to get back.
Again, thanks for all your support. I will get this back on the road - I have to as it was a wedding gift from my wife,Fiona, who passed away 18months ago. I will tell my customers to go away for a couple of weeks while my workshop becomes the Alpine Rescue Centre of Tunbridge Wells.......
