No pressure for me, not a championship event and I'm just there to enjoy and experience :D
But greatly looking forward to it.
Just need to make sure I beat all those 600cc cars though.

Yes it is, it's an RAOC championship event for at least four of you!

Dissapointing to not see RAOC next to Mr Taylor's name especially as comp secretary :( Can you get them to add it please... :D

Mr Sage, Mr Garner & Mr Ellens are all down as RAOC and even Mr Jeffrey is down as Alpine OC as well as Sevenoaks.

Stephen, I specifically joined 7-Oaks at my personal cost to make sure that I got an entry form for this event, and to avoid the dissappointment of missing it. I duely published detials of the event and shared this with the Forum.

I have asked Karren if she can add RAOC to my entered club, often there is not enough room on entry forms to detail all the clubs one is a member of.

Lets hope it is a good event, I'm looking forward to it :D

noise

Postby si21 » Sat May 22, 2010 3:20 pm

I am not sure about the regs but as sombody that grew up 2 miles from the circuit please check noise levels of your car its a built up area and believe this was one of the main reasons the circuit was closed down. I thought it would be worth a mention.

Mr Taylor any update on db levels ?

Std as per the MSA Blue Book.
I will double check what they are, in case any one can measure them.

Should have trusted ACSMC - RAOC and saved the cash

TBH I think more than a few people played the Sevenoaks card to try and guarantee an entry but as it turned out it wasn't necessary. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. At least it boosted their coffers a bit though. I guess they'll need every penny to pay for this.

I guess we can forgive you if you get it tacked on the end...

The clubs are all messed up on the finals entry anyway. I am now down as 7 Oaks & Alpine OC (whatever that is!) while the MG above me is RAOC / HCA&AC (even that is down as MCA&AC). Tim jerfferys showing as BRSCC
I have emailed Karen and hope its sorted in the programe.

I hope every one had a good day at the Palace.
Thanks to all that did manage to come alang, and for your support and encouragement.
I managed 39.63 seconds, a 1st in class, 15th out of 98 overall, and I was only 0.49 behind Tim Jeffires 315 horse powered A610.
Good to see plenty of other club members out competing too.
I guess all of the results will follow on
