5 Turbo back on the road

Postby Trevor Skedge » Sun May 16, 2010 9:17 pm

Got an MOT on the T2 Friday after a year in the garage sitting idle. Started first time as ever and should be at the Ace Cafe on Monday night.

It looks great , Its hard to describe how good it feels to get back in your car after an extended period of time . but you definately smile to yourself and so you should.

Never knock any one else's choice of car............ unless it is German, because the English have so many good memories of them.

Tony,

All taken in good spirit. Great to have the car back driving again and it surprises me how reliable it has been over the past 7 or 8 years that I have owned it. Been through 2 alternators and a speedo cable but that's about it.
All suspension needs attention and I have a complete set sitting in the garage waiting for the enthusiasm to build.
