engine hatch latch

Postby pgoldsmith » Fri Apr 09, 2010 12:16 pm

Has anyone got a engine bay latch that they are willing to sell ?

I'm after the part that fits to the bodywork not the glass.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Sorry guys, I got it wrong (or rather my mate who asked me did  )

He's after the one of the hinges at the top of the engine hatch. His left hand one has rotten away from the bodywork.
No idea if it's bolted or bonded on, perhaps you could enlighten me ?

Cheers

Bolted and handed .Beware when refitting or you'll be needing a new glass as well .
Which side does he need ?I have got the LHS one off but the other is proving difficult .I'm soaking it but will have to see if it gets in there anywhere useful .....

and now I'm starting to put mine back together it's amazing how many parts have gone astray over 6 years!

I'm after the little brackets at the base of the gas rams for the rear hatch. Anyone have a pair.

Oh, and is there a way of telling which way round the hinges are then?

Oooo I'll have them. Ta.

And anyone know what goes in the other little hole in the side gutter down the side of the engine cover.

And also, I need the little black plastic discs that go on the window guide things at the base of the door windows.

I haven't given a price for them yet ......
I don't know if it will come out yet .I might have to get busy with a grinder on the capheads on the drivers side .
£30 a pair if it comes out .
