The car situated in Specialist Renault Breakers Accrington. He's asking for offers around £2000.
This breaker has been breaking Alpines for a number of years, and has still got a set of original metric wheels.
It is one of the better breakers as most parts are removed, placed on a pallette and stored in a warehouse, not like most breakers where you climb over cars stacked on top of each other.
I thought it might be Mr Jon's car.

£2000 seems steep when you could have bought Tony's working example for £2400!!!! Would like some trim bits and the central locking doo dahs off it though.

Yes it is indeed my old car! The Insurance company wanted too much money to buy it back off them and frankly i'd had enough.

In response to wanting central locking/electronic opening they didn't and never did work! Also, the clutch was starting to slip, dodgy fuel computer and speedo, etc etc! Oh and the rear screen was smashed when they were trying to put the fire out.

However, don't despair, there were some very good parts and the interior was unmarked (the fire brigade gave it an extra clean too when they filled the car with a few thousand gallons of water...)

If anyone wants anymore information then i'll do my best. I'm still looking for a GTA turbo if anyone knows of one for around £4-5k?

Yes, I thought the reserve would be higher!!

eBay rules don't allow adverts so if no other bidders I win the car :D

Vendor can always cancel my bid if they like 8)

Breaks my heart more like.....

I tried buying it back off the insurance company but they wanted £2500, which frankly in my opinion was far too much money given that it needed an engine replacement!

Really missing driving an Alpine, does anyone know if the GTA turbo on ebay is any good??? Please advise...!

I believe it's a nice one.

See the for sale section on this site for more photos and a description.

The green one is pretty good too, but probably needs a new set of wheels.
