Simon,

Is that a new slave or a refurb kit?

Thanks

Master cylinders available new, not so sure about the slave though.

The Renault item is a refurb kit, piston, seals and dust cover.

After cleaning up and honing both the clutch master and slave cylinders, finding the bores in good order, I went to the local master cylinder exchange business.

All the cups in both were replaced and fitted including replacement of the broken master cylinder spring for a total of $10. Certainly a lot cheaper than buying new ones or kits.

Renault have come back no re-seal kits but can do a new slave cylinder @ £118, around double the price of a couple of years ago! Also it would be on back order from France which I believe is not very reliable :(

Also got hold of Brakesint.co.uk who now do not do reseal kits for this slave :(

Running out of ideas of where to look now :(

Cheers

I have e-mailed them numerous times and there English is perfect. They seem to have pretty much everything I have ever asked for and they are cheaper than Renault even with shipping taken into account. Worth a go!!

Simon are excellent .
It'll get here faster than any UK supplier .He may well do the seal kits .
Or try Mecaparts ,they list the seal kits as well as the cylinders but won't be as quick as Simon .

I think Andy Holt can get you Mecca parts at reduced prices, also maybe able to avoid shipping costs and post to you from the UK, but only to paid up club members.
