What, his GTA ATMO?

Image

No... the transportation system seen to the right in this picture.

He is upgrading to a wider bed as his Le Mans will not easily fit on his existing trailer now that the track has been widened.

4 wheel, flat bed trailer. New tyres. New winch cable. New trailer board. New mudguards. Braked. Standard 50mm hitch. Concealed ramps. All in good working order. Metal frame could ideally do with a touch up (silver hammerite included).

Fits a standard GTA, A610 & R21 Turbo perfectly. Approx 6' 4" wide.

£500 ono. You won't find cheaper with this spec even on ebay!

I should have some more photos somewhere which I will post up when I find them.

Mr Dini, not wishing to spoil Mr Gs sale, you wont need a trailer, you will get a lie in and get to events in half the time.
Also, packing up to come home is a lot quicker too.
BUT, best to make sure your GTA has RAC Recovery cover...... just in case. I have used it once.... for a blown radiator. They are ok to pick you up from race venues, just take competition numbers off first.

Well, first regs have dropped through the door for this year, North weald March 14th.
Need a change in weather conditions if I am going to get the car back together, its been way too cold since christmas to even think about venturing into the garage.

I have regs for Goodwood on 24th April, All 2.4 miles of the circuit.
It is an ACSMC event, so any paid up RAOC memebr is eligable.
And 4WD cars will be in their own class.

My opening event of the year is the 2010 Rushmoor sprint at Farnborough, Hants, this Sunday the 11th.
Past success has included a 1st in class so I'll be there with a heavy right foot and hopefully it will be a good day out.

So far there are 7 Renault cars entered.......
2 R8s
2 Clio's
2 GTA turbo's
an A110
and the 2.8 6R4 that took FTD last year.
and maybe more delights on the day.

Officially a non-spectator event, but quite a few locals come along to watch. Burger van and Mr whippy will be there too.

more details and Event location available here.

2 practice runs starting at 9, followed by timed runs.

Rushmoor was a good event today.
The Adaptronics first real outing and it performed well, it pulls real hatd, loads of torque and i was changing up into thrid, whereas last year on the Renex I was letting it bounce of the limiter for about a second.
The sun was shinning, we got 2 practice runs, 3 timed runs and then another additional run (non-competative) for the die hards.
The Picnic provided by Mrs Phil-Dini was a very welcome and tasty surprise.
Overall, I 'only' managed 2nd in class with 57.43. 1.6 seconds quicker than last time, plus the start was anouther 10-20 feet back from previous years, so a slightly longer course. I was beaten by half a second a John-Cooper Works supercharged Mini-One (160bhp suposedly, 1 of 40 made), but I beat him first, last time.... by 2 hundreths of a second.
FTD was a V8 caterham......51 seconds...... mostly sideways!
