I arrived with a firm clutch and on my way home Istarted her yes started her only my clutch pedal went to the floor.
Many thanks to Mr Dell and Annie for helping to bleed the clutch in a freezing force 8 gale in the dark Twice
She even made it home again
Its not as bad as it sounds though
The alternator needs replaced
The smoke was under accelleration uphill - Leaking dip stick tube.
The clutch had never given any problems previously I suspected the worse but we just bled the air out and the pedal returned
The temp gauge is not using a properly calibrated sensor which needs to be rectified and can be reasonably easily.
she lives albeit further teething problems
