Northern/Midlands Meet Oct 25th

Postby BIG_MVS » Thu Oct 01, 2009 6:32 pm

Right All,

Who is up for a little meet to end the year? Initially people were up for the the midlands area to meet, anyone got any preference to where we meet?

I have asked the 21 Turbo club to perhaps join up as well but didn't get much feedback so I guess it's just us lot.

Names down and where you would like to meet up please.

Cheers,

Martin

only problem..... a major one..... you can't park a pushbike in your street :(

i suggest the pub we went to for the RTOC meet The Turf....that was an ideal venue, plus El Presidenté has no excuse not to attend as its only 1/2 an hour from his mums house....

5 minutes from Jay's House ....

easy to get to from M6

carvery food was reasonable and the car park is large!

maybe i'll bring a spider over if it's the right date for me as i know mR D definately won't drive one of his just in case he gets a bit cold or wet.....

OK - Anyone want to chuck anymore pub choices into the ring at all, I don't really know any round there at all?

I have come up with this but unfortunately it's only on the following sunday (1st Nov) I could do that but not sure about everyone else?

Or there is this on near coventry which might be interesting to some people, there may even be some rare alpine parts for sale

Alternatively just a "pie and a pint" type deal?

OK, I have decided to stick with the 25th October for this. I would like to go for that Midlands Breakfast Club in Jan/Feb next year to replace the Knutsford meet we used to do towards the end of Jan if that suits better?

So could I have names down on the list with who can make the 25th and where they would prefer to meet, at the moment there are 4 "Northerners" confirmed and only one "Midlander" sorry Jay? That said if there are enough votes for the midlands then I'm more than happy to attend there.

Don't forget I'm going to arrange that Midlands Breakfast club meet in Jan so your not losing out so to speak

Put me down as a possible - I should have an alpine by then, but if I don't I may pop along (depending on location) in something not French ;)

I'm based near Lincoln so, less North and more East for me please :D
