A610 SILL REPAIR

theres nothing that can't be repaired,theres nothing that can't be replaced, it just takes time and the minimum of money. NO MORE BREAKERS.because one day there won't be any left. the new way forward has to be restoration.

JIL has the rot in the sills ya eejuts not the breaker and anyway a subframe and a wishbone are easy fixes.... not like glassed in rot so get off yer high horse Longdrop

The breaker is a breaker unless you want to throw 6k at it to make it worth 3 ....

ok might have been a bit hasty with the last post, i sometimes for get that not all alpine owners work in the bodyshop trade or have repared alpines and espace. i do have respect though for any one who can get an engin and gearbox unit out of an alpine so don't think im just a big gob.
reparing the corrosion on your car is no small job, but not difficult as you may think. if you need any advice just give me a shout.

The rot is in the side plate and pretty accessible .The floor won't rot as it's fibreglass not steel like those lardy 610s .
Clean up ready to plate over ....

Oh didnt know Jil had tin worm too, that doesn't look too bad where that is though, as long as your seat belt anchorage isn't too close the MOT tester will be happy as larry.

It's the front that was knackered on our last breaker as well as the back, the front turrets just folded in on themselves
