RAOC Tour of North Wales 15th/16th August

OK myself and Andrew will be doing the honours again and I know Andrew is already organising a route.

I propose something along similar lines to last year incorporating a meet for breakfast, spirited drive. Then stop for lunch in Portmeiron, take in some more driving and a private road Then finish for dinner. This will all take place on the Saturday. If enough interest we could arrange something for the Sunday as well.

So could I have a list of names of who would like to come please, and any requests to see/drive to:

Is it possible to book a table for Lunch at Portmeiron ?

Something Sunday morning would be good ending at lunch time if possible.

At the very least we could have Sunday Lunch at the Wingfield Arms as per last year before everyone camping leaves for home.

i will find out this weekend wether we are goin to rtoc national day or not
as we are on hols over this weekend i know i dont have work so if not national day may well be coming up to visit the welsh hills

If we don't get sufficient interest we may have to cancel.

How about Mr Law, Raymondot, Simone21 (surely one of the fleet is finished ) who cam e last year?

I've sorted the route out roughly.

All to meet at the plough in St Asaph at 10am.

After coffee and a natter, we leave for Denbigh and up onto the moors heading for Cerrigydrudion.
Then onto Bala and take the road towards Trawsfynedd turning off halfway along onto the moors heading for Ffestiniog and then onto Portmeirion for lunch.
After lunch we head for Blaenau Ffestiniog, up and over the Crimea Pass and onto Betws Y Coed. From here Capel Curig, Pen y Gwryd, past Snowdon and down the llanberis Pass. Here we'll stop for a break and then onto a private road at Deiniolen ....
When we finish playing, we're heading down to Caernarfon around the castle and then onto get a drink and a meal, final destination to be sorted (maybe on the island).
