Wheel referb.....

Thanks to my mate Michael Jackson i'm getting my wheels sorted, so have a couple of questions.....

1. Was there a standardd paint and/or paint code for the silver that the original GTA wheels where done in and can you still get it?

2. I need new rear tyres, without dragging up the old new tyres thread does anyone run anything different on standard rims other than 255's@£350 each or 225's such as Toyo/etc?

2) Clee and Turbodog run 235's I believe, think they are Toyo's

The tyres I'm using at the moment are toyo's R888, road legal, track tyres, size 235/50 /15. If you would like to try these purchase them quickly because as from the 1st April 2010 these will no longer be road legal. They are exceptionally sticky as you would expect from a track tyre.

My MOT tester was correct in that the tyres are to be banned but he gave me the wrong info as to when. Sorry for this.

Is this a symptom of the nanny state we live in, that if i fit road legal slicks to my car, i'm not credited with the common sense to realise that I will lose grip in wet conditions and adjust my driving accordingly ?

Someone is always inventing a better idiot ..and I'm afraid the rest of us will always have to suffer for them .
