K&N, Prima racing Green one or standard?
Any thoughts..

Also about to flush brake lines with a silicone fluid which will not absorb water, to that end was thinking of replacing brake lines.

Has anyone tried the braided goodridge?
They are only £45 not sure what standard ones cost my renault dealer is less than helpful when it comes to anything alpine.

Your choice is really only DOT5.1 mate - even with a new master cylinder, the seals aren't meant for DOT 5.

£45 for 4 hoses is pretty damned good. I've been fitting stainless braided hoses to DeLoreans for ages, having my own made. They make for a firmer pedal.

Cheers Martin,
The fluid I am going to use is Automec which is dot 5.
Silicon based which is totaly inert.

I thought dot 5 of any flavour was a huge no-no in an old dot 3 or 4 system. That's why dot 5.1 exists.

5.1 is glycol based as is 3 and 4 ...5 is silicon .It does say in a lot of literature that you should not use silicon in a glycol designed system as it can damage the hardware ..

I use this stuff from Opie ,High temp DOT4 ...

My 610 uses dot 5- stickers all over the place warning not to use dot 4.
Is this standard for all a610 ?
If so its odd as DOT 5 says "not recommended for abs braking" on the pots.....??
Renault must have known better!

now I come to think of it, the Venturi uses it in the clutch hydraulics. Same slave cylinder across the board since the 25t
