http://www.cholmondeleytickets.co.uk/ac ... index.html

Please book the extra tickets required or camping yourself, we do not get any reduction as part of the club on this. I will provide the Free Weekend "Drivers" ticket only, these also include 2 child places free so again let me know if your rug rats are coming as well. Once I have these I will post them to you. These are paddock entry passes as well so bear in mind when booking extra tickets for the family as only you will be able to get into the paddock area if they book standard tickets. One to bear in mind.

Any questions pm me by all means

CPOP - Chumley

Postby PaulC1959 » Tue May 12, 2009 10:33 pm

Hi Guys

I went to this last year with the few Venturi that attended, it was a good event which was only let down by the access to the paddock from the club area, (sorted for this year, apparently), and the weather on Saturday, but Sunday saw good weather and the competition on the track was for real for some of the drivers, If I close my eyes I can still see and hear the big Lola T70 and RS200 going for fastest time of the day!!!

Lots of other interesting cars there form many decades.

Just one thing though the track is not a hill climb, it is pretty much flat. I don't know if that will make any difference to the preparation of those competing? Looking forward to seeing you guys going for it on track.

See you all there!! :D :D

The competition is more for proper real historic racer types  Not we prols ....

I was looking forward to the Fireworks concert 1812 overture with cannons an' s h i t ...but ...I just checked and it's £20 per adult and a tenner each for the issue so I'm hoping the camp site is nearby and I'll bring a bugle and a popgun

Update:

I now have the passes. I have sent them out today so you all should get them soon. Please let me know if there are any problems.

***Just to clarify, these are free entrance to the park and paddock area for the driver only. You will have to book tickets for passengers/children yourselves. They are currently £22.50 advance or £25 on the gate, £5 for children aged 5-16 years.

You will also have to book your camping yourselves, you can do this via the above website or over the phone direct to Cholmondeley.***

Oh and try and get there before 8 am to avoid queues!

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Cheers,

Martin

Yes sent you some child tickets. You had to specify that you required child tickets when ordering so I did for you. Have you booked your camping?
