New Job = New Car (Banger)! Suggestions please....

Postby jon_viola » Sat Apr 18, 2009 7:16 pm

So I have a new job :D :D

Sadly it pays much much less than the current one and has much worse hours but the musical fun to be had is brilliant!

www.badkequartet.co.uk

So i need a new Quartetmobile :D :D

Spec:

Diesel/LPG
Must take a cello in the boot
Cost almost nothing- no really nothing!
Be reliable
Take motorways in its stride so that the driver can do a concert at the other end
A/C

Thats it.

Thought it might be a fun one to share- obviously if anyone knows or has something we could use then let me know, absolutely bottom dollar paid

Good plan, except cello won't fit flat across the floor either sideways or lengthways....

Didn't know they PRV powered

I was thinking along the lines of:

Merc W124/ old S class
Citroen Xm Diesel ( after '95)
Old 5/7series BMW
Ford Scorpio - the really ugly ones (massive boot)
Galaxy/Espace etc etc with rear set of seats removed- might be a bit pricey!

Any others?
