Works out at approx £165 + shipping for 6

(NB, I have NOT bought these myself, but I will be very soon! - I have used Summit many times before, never had any trouble with stuff from them crossing the atlantic)

42lb/hr x 10.5 = 441cc/min

They use a courier so tax will still be charged at this end... I could ask a mate in the US to repackage and send regular air mail if you like? I do need a set myself.

AFAIK it's a standard fitting. Try these for size

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

Same dimensions given sure looks about right ;) Like I said, I haven't taken a punt on them myself yet, but 100% intend to.

Have you got a spare injector and a set of verners (in inches of course) handy?!

 that's wierd.

Actually, if you look a tthe photo, the nozzle is directly beneath the lower O-ring. The GTA type has a longer nozzle with a plastic cap which accounts for an additional 4mm. Here's a random ebay shot

What do you measure the "seat to seat" height to be (I'm not near my garage at the moment!)

I'm guessing this means the height from seal to seal

No .... I took the pintle cap off to measure it .With cap on the Bosch one is 3.055" o/all .
Ahh just checked the seat and it is the same
 .

I say we just buy one now and test fit  We wont be able to fit a cap to that one ? Is that critical to function ?I think it creates the spray pattern ,yes ?

The cap seems to be more a protective thingummy. The spray is created by the very fine hole(s) in the plate underneath it.

I've just gone through the checkout procedure and they want $25 for vanilla flavoured air parcel post for one or six injectors.

The Trickflow ones (460cc) are out of stock till the 1st. The 441cc's are in stock and the seat-to-seat height is greater

In case we're talking about the wrong ones .....The Bosch seat height is about 2.390/2.400"
That's from the very back to the start of the chamfer seat into inlet plenum .
Rough guess cross ref to the Bosch codes and I get 0-280-150-400 ....437.2CC for a Ford 5L ? Low imp though .

There's definitely room for a longer injector - if all else fails, a couple of washers under the rail bolts would sort it out, but I don't think it'd be needed. If you like, try taking one of the retaining clips off and see how much the injector moves up and down (a greased seal works well here ;)

I'll take a punt on the Summit ones and let you know. I need some other stuff anyway
