Renault WSR - No parade laps ! Is this true .Silverstone 4-7

I have just opened my letter from RH&C and read that in the 2009 WSR season '' there will be no parades on the track ''. As brilliant as the Silverstone / Donnington WSR weekend is , the track time is a real highlight for my Son & me . Does the club have any influence over Renault the revoke this change & discover the reason behind it ?

Yes we've know this for a while. Check the WSR thread.

Reason given is: For reasons related to security and timing, we can no longer organize collectors' parades at the meets.

There was a lot of careless driving last year and the decision cannot be changed.
