You can get clear vents but they're not cheap and fixing them would be difficult .Not to do but to look pretty ..I think you'd have to accept the race look 8)

Thats what I thought to be honest and thats the way I think it would be a lot of work to create may as well stick with the PRV ....I mean the fibre glass hatch in black :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ok thanks everyone.
I'm not going to run it without an engine cover, for danger of damaging the glass (I think you're right Tony). Instead either a Fleischman or Fleischman style hatch in place of the glass hatch fitted without the standard engine cover.

I'm sure the heat under the cover during a hot day does no good to the engine, wiring, hoses etc..
