When I saw the my first 110 in full wide arch rally spec I fell in Love with Alpines

I cannot however afford one at their current value and neither could I justify the price tag TBH for what the car is.

The next best thing for me is the GTA Lemans

In my own opinion what the GTA should have looked like in the first place

and they should have put the 610 lump in it from the start.

I think that would be an awsum car .....you guessed it; I plan to find out just how awsum

I love my GTA, A610 and my Lovely Dini Turbo....... but nothing gives me the horn like the sound of a TURBO 2 with a Devil Exhaust...... so because of that I have voted TURBO 2 !!!!!!!

That I have a major passion for my 21 Turbo which was neither built by Alpine or Renault Sport; although the turbo may have been developed at the Alpine factory???? Rumours and I believe the cup cars were. I back this up as I have a brand new cup plenum intake manifold which definately comes from the Alpine factory.

A very understated and underated sports saloon and for that I love it

Its not off topic its what your favourite Renault is and I defend the 21 to the hilt. compared to the 5 its far far more reliable from stories I have heard

IT WILL BLOW UP THE SAME AS ANY 5 with too much BOOOST

Had Mine 3 years new engine reliable 212 BHP and all I (emphasis on I) have done is Fek up the clutch; my own abuse rebuilt suspension and brakes new gearbox and clutch as my box was shagged after 150,000 + hard miles....big deal

I bet you have spent far more on your GTA than you have on the 21 and I bet it produces more power or not far off

Clee you have to stop comparing it to the GTA; its a 4 door sports saloon not a purpose built spots car with moncoque chassis and double indepent wish bone suspension which sits knee high to a grass hoper

I wasn't dissing the 21 anyways .It's fine ,sailed through it's MOT and just needs a couple of turbo bolts replacing and the power steering leak fixing .
It's a good fast motorway cruiser that's er than many a modern piece of kit .

Yah the 21 may produce more power but then Dellboys got 60bhp more than me and I'as still avin im innit Aiiiiii seen ,seen
I haven't spent any money on the 21 but the last guy spent over £5000 chipped/turbo etc etc etc
