Even if it doesn't pass (emissions wise)

If it's still doing what it was last time, it'll need a twiddle on the idle settings

yep, thanks Stephen and Sarah for the card, whats more I think I have identified the Spider used for the post card, it is clearly this Japanese example:

Image
colour and the Michelin Man in just the right place. Shame you could not have found a more Japanese looking bird to pose on it Stephen

Yes I was going to get shot of the Alp but a combination of encouragement from many club members and seeing people have some success with their Adaptronics and made me decide to have one more go. Is going for MOT on the 29th and provided it passes I'll be taking it oop north for Scoff to do some mapping. I also couldn't think of anything over 15 years old (essential for my classic fleet policy) that I'd rather have (that I could afford anyway!).

Glad to hear it! :D

Clearly not as the one in the postcard has a windscreen!

I think you'll find it's much closer to home than that

Actually, if it fails at idle (which it probably will), the rules say you can rev it, and it'll be clean as a whistle at 2000rpm.

Really glad to know you're finally going to get to properly enjoy it! (Please please please let Lee work his magic on the trigger wheel!)

Trigger wheel

Postby Tony Smith » Wed Dec 24, 2008 2:38 pm

Definitely going to move over to a trigger wheel. Would like to sort out the Lambda problem on the Adaptronic too but it looks like I've got more chance of getting a Kanye West remix!

Probably worth going direct to the source, Andy Wyatt, if you get no joy from David - yours and Rich Johnstone's both came in the same box and neither accept the innovate input through the secondary serial but work fine otherwise.

If you do get it working, you're welcome to borrow my LM-1 - Rob's had it for 9 months now, I think it must have "slow converged" by now!!!
