More Expense

si21 I wonder how many extinguishers fail to go off, I also wonder on what real life basis these bodies work to sometimes; it seems to have been fine for years.

Please tell me to take my foot outta me Mowf if I am wrong :?:

When I purchased a LifeLine 2KG unit, it came with sticker claiming expiry date of 2years. so it looks like most motorsport units probably already respect this 2 year life policy.

2kg unit I bought from Halfrauds I cant remeber seeing anything on that, I may be wrong, so I would have to purchase an extinguisher that is complient to the MSA anyway.

I suppose it depend what class you run in; it better to have something than nothing if your'e class regs dont stipulate it.

I got mine from St Johns Ambulance .
They get it from Firemaster .
It has a five year warranty and a gauge on the bottom .You can return it after the warranty or after use and they will refill it and test at a discounted rate .
Would this comply if you had it checked and refilled every two years ??
I imagine it would be returned with some sort of certificate .........
