WANTED

Postby scottydog » Sat Nov 22, 2008 6:18 pm

Hi - I need for my GTA (atmo):

Heater blower motor assembly
Carb' cooling fan motor (i.e. the motor above the spare wheel)
Cooling system expansion chamber

Bargains most welcome :-) Finances are a bit tight - same for most people I'm sure!

As you probably know I only have turbo parts, clee had a heater blower but that's now on it way back to France.

If the engine bay fan is the same as on the turbo I have one of those?

Expansion bottle is shared with a megane? (well so Paul sage told me a while back...)

About time you broke an Atmo then Martin

Surely you'd like to relieve me of a little more of my hard earned :?:

Thanks for the tip about the expansion tank. I'll look into that. Not really a critical part size-wise, so I'll find something to fit one way or another if the Megane one doesn't. I can check on Julies Megane anyway.

I don't know whether the engine bay fan is the same as the turbo - anyone else know?

Simple to check with the parts book on this site.......it looks the same but the parts book will confirm for sure.

I never thought to look there - thanks Lee.

The Atmo part is 77 00 764 681 (parts book page 58 ) and, if I'm looking at the correct bit, the Turbo part is either 60 01 008 891 or 60 01 022 536 (next page) depending upon model year.

Different part numbers but they look very similar in the diagrams. It might be worth a gamble and if the case is different I might be able to swap the motors around.

Hi John - I installed an R5 GT Turbo unit in the end so never did find out whether one of the GTA Turbo fans fits the Atmo.
