That Cheered Me Up Guys

Postby si21 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 5:47 pm

Bless her cotton socks poor girl had the indignity of being towed back to the garage by a FFFF Ford god that was difficult to say

Plumbing problems first she dropped her fluid all over the road again and then I did >

I am smiling a little now but was none to pleased this morning in rush hour eh Mr Dell

We can rebuild her

No MOT yet as she did not make it, there has to be an issue with the cooling system and a carb rebuild now.

The V6 noise did turn a few heads and it sounds even better within the slatted rear grill

There is

Postby si21 » Fri Nov 14, 2008 3:39 pm

some discrepency with the both the exhaust and the rear wing, which is not quite at the correct angle to meet with the bumper, in order to get the bumper back on the car, a compromise was struck. The bumper twisted slightly upwards to meet the wing angle. This unfortunately deforms the bottom right hand side of the bumper tucking the bottom edge in and up, away from the exhaust, this accentuates the discrepency in the exhaust.

The body work will be done when I drop another much more powerful injected blown lump in.........you'd have thought I'd have learnt with the first project started    wouldn't you :?: :!: :!:
