Some Electrics no worky

Sorry, been in Dublin whilst all this has been going on.....

There appears to be a relay 312 shown on my Atmo cct, but it has a shorting link shown across pins 3 & 5, and I had a look behind the relay panel of my car today, to see how the wiring is done to all the relays, and this relay does not exist in the Atmo, just the shorting link, but I have the feeling it may be fitted to the Turbo. This is quite an important relay, as it supplies the voltage, when energised by the ign sw, to a lot of switches, to energise individual relays to things like the lights, radio, and I suspect the fuel pump cct, etc.

Martin, it appears that the Turbo also has this same shorting link fitted across the relay base, which you have found broken, (which in my atmo cct actually shows a relay 312, with the link shown across it) as it is in the Atmo. Anyway, yes, had it been a faulty relay, or as you have found out, a broken link, then clearly as described above, you have found the fault. Well done, you must be really happy
