Maybe, each to their own. Yellow or Black would be my choice for a respray.

Didn't the Aldo Walker one turn up solid Red? Maybe it has been resprayed again?

Not massively keen on the Mint Green one. Doesn't really do much for the car. K303 was a very much liked long-termer for Performance car and was run by a guy called Peter Tomalin. If I can get my scanner to work, I will try and send the article to Stephen as it is one of the finest write-ups the A610 had and really should be on the road tests page (and also where my 'mellowyellow' tag came from.

An extract from the article:

'But none of these things is important enough to dissuade anyone from buying an A610. Why more people don't remains one of life's great mysteries and a source of real regret around here. Early on, I earmarked the A610 for a series of articles called Back To Routes, in which I sought - and savoured - some of Britain's greatest driving roads. Not once did I wish I'd taken anything else.'

turbodog wrote:K303 is still immaculate and lives in North Wales. this is a photo I took a short while ago, but who has the other car now ? It was for sale when I took this picture.

J456 was in Auto Express I think.
J458 was in the Cornish Fasty article on Road Tests page.
J460 was used in much of the Renault literature/sales brochures from the time.

I think J457 was previously owned by someone on here?

I had a yellow bumper which ended in JTP so that must have come from one of the press cars and is now dead

Are you going to return the reg back on your 610 to JTP?

No plans to change it back. A new number plate isn't that high on any priority list for me. If it did change, I'd have an ALP plate rather than changing it back to JTP. Either that or A610 FOL if anyone knows where that is!
