Audi Coupe Quattro for me 8)

Slow I'll give you, but can I point out your Audi was penned by the very same Giorgetto Giugiaro, and you can see several common styling cues, esp if you look at the Scirocco as an in-between, which was also one of his.

Oh I forgot to mention overpriced as well as slow and ugly

I think old Giorgetto had one to many Peroni's the night before he put pen to paper for the Delorean

I wouldn't swap the GTA though. I have thought about it but whenever I park it somewhere I can't help looking back at it one last time and admiring 8) when I walk away.

Hey it's only a bit of banter, I still think they are expensive and your paying for fame rather than quality engineering, no?

As for cheap and plastic, I like cheap!

That's quite nice! Would be nice to see that in a Renault showroom.

I agree, these pictures look horrendous. Like one of those hideous SMART roadster Coupe's. The above pictures of the black car are much nicer and have the look of a smaller Veyron. Let's just hope if the Alpine name is ever used again, it is a worthy design.

My GTA is a keeper, always wanted one since I sat in one at a Renault showroom when I was little. Would only part with it for a Integrale, LHD doesnt bother me (A lot of tat out there, was looking for one when looking for my GTA). A Lancia Stratos Replica or a Maserati 3200GT

I recently had to decide what to replace my GTA with. Not that I'm getting rid of it, but I reckoned that it was time to retire it from being my only form of 4 wheeled transport (there is a horrible knocking from the engine that needs investigating - I don't think it's big ends, what else causes knocking on these engines?). And to be honest, values seem so low at the moment I might as well hang onto it.

I needed something with 4 seats and fancied a convertible for a change. I've bought a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 sport cabriolet and I love it. 220bhp V6 so it's reasonably rapid, even though a lot heavier than the GTA. Fuel consumption is fine, I get over 35 mpg on a motorway run. Handling is OK, though of course not up to GTA standards, and fortunately there are electronic stability aids that help when you go in too fast, thinking you're in the GTA!
In the current climate, values of these big engined cars have plumetted, I managed to knock £2K off the price of the one I bought.
