i know if you come off the A55 hang a left into st.asaph to a mini roundabout - take the right there's a supermarket down there with a carpark, apart from that st.asaph is a bit like vilage of the dammed! :?

I've arranged for us all to meet at the Plough Inn just off the motorway at 10 am. Coffee and tea has been arranged.

turn off the A55 at junction 27. Take the first left when you reach the bottom of the sliproad, and the plough is about 50 yards on your left.

There is a garage opposite if you need to fill up. The route is over some high passes so don't forget to bring your oxygen masks .. :P

Sorry guys, her in doors has put her foot down. Having done Le Mans Classic, Silverstone Classic, F1 GP, GT Championships and a few others so far this year, sadly she has had enough and wants some spending money left for family holdays in Greece next month. I have promised to do the gardening, the housework, cook dinners for her for the rest of the year but to no avail.
To those going or anyone else thinking about it, go for it! I used to drive these roads when I worked the area, in an Alfa 164 24v Cloverleaf. It was driving heaven (before plod got all heavy and helicoptered) and I really wanted to do it again in the Alpine.
Martin, please can you make sure someone has a camera with them? Even if I can't go, would be great to see the Alpines on those roads.
I'm off now to go and sulk quietly in a darkened corner...................

Thanx Juzzblack,
I hope the sun shines for you. I'm still working on the missus so all is not lost but she hasn't budged yet. :D

Martin,
That was the excuse I made to take it to Le Mans! Getting my own back, her XJS is now also up for sale
Will keep trying!
Had a lot of interest in the GT6 from abroad, especially Norway. At least they seem to have a realistic view on what classics are worth!
