but the bores are more like 10 mil and I also said 75 in total and I'm losing interest now ................................. :wink: :lol:

ANYWAY .................Should I add a bit more oil for the cooler or keep it at 7.5l ?

There is an oil level on the dipstick. Keep it at the same level, no matter how large the oil cooler is....Simple. 8)

Oh yeh :oops:
I'll have to see where that level is on the new lump before I fit the cooler .Bet it won't be anywhere near the notch :shock:

Haynes quotes 7.5l for the 25T same as for the GTA:roll:
The dipstick marks are relative to the tube lengths so you can't compare the sticks themselves ..............the 25 tube sits higher above the rocker cover .It's the amount the stick protrudes beyond the pipe that matters ...........innit ?

Renault normally say they don't know and ,GTA ? isn't that an Alfa mate ?
Feckin knob end .
7.1 or 7.5 or even 8 depends on the data sheet .

You might find its generic figure related to PRV's, and not purely the GTA/25. Some Renault PRV have run a standard oil filter, then with a water cooler and oil filter, then with a remote filter and water cooler, and then with a remote cooler and proper radiator type oil cooler, and with different sumps...
