Stalling When Warm

Postby BIG_MVS » Sun Mar 09, 2008 8:26 am

Got the GTA back on the road again and had a good blast yesterday 8)

Seems it has typically in Alpine style picked up another fault since not being used. It cuts out when coasting to a junction/traffic lights when warm. I seem to remember someone else having this problem and it turned out to be the idle control valve? Anyone got any other ideas?

Yes, I posted that problem. Told the valve may be sticking.
Was especially bad in colder weather.
Took the idle control valve off, sprayed the inside with WD40, replaced and so far so good!.......(tempting fate)....I now expect it to fail tomorrow !!!!
