introduction

Postby cheslynjay » Sat Mar 01, 2008 6:59 pm

hello everyone, just to introduce myself as i expect to be asking a lot of advice in the future.
after years of following my father around renault garages(he was a uk manager for renault) and owning many a renault i have finally took the plunge and purchased my childhood dream. a 87 gta turbo (oh no what have i done?)
yes it has the usual faults, speedo, door release and electric window sticks but it is brilliant and puts a smile on your face and everyone keeps stopping me when i get out and asking what it is?the look you get when you tell them its a renault.
apoligies for going on but i am exited, have to go now the wife said i have spent enough time with the car and on the alpine web site.

Cheslyn Hay, never heard of it, you learn summat new everyday :D

Not many local meets happening, although we just had a northern meet near Manchester in Jan. Keep an eye on the events/meetings section on the site.

Enjoy the Alp :!:
