I'll have to check out ferry prices for you, but I'm pretty sure I can get a track day at am MSA circuit for about £50 per hour.

Three people ain't gonna be enough! But I could still get the track for an hour or two for three or four cars.

Liam, I was thinking of organising a wee tour over there too... tho I hear that Nutts Corner is to be closed down which is a bimmer. Kirkiston is good tho. Could also take in a couple of the hll climb tracks.
Lots of good restaurants/hotels, golf courses (if thats your bag), and great roads with no traffic.

basically you just need to aim for belfast. it's all quite close really, hotels, pubs, decent roads and circuits.

I'd probably do a track day, but I can't confirm anything at the moment
(for maybe 3 months) due to work/money/etc.....

Contrary to popular belief, Nutts Corner isn't closing, but at the mo there is a bit of uncertainty as to is future (whether or not it'll be a kart and supermoto track only, or as a full motorsports centre) due to wankers complaining about noise near the track (only the people who have recently moved near the track!)
But the good news is that there is no shortage of tracks over here. Also, I compete in the Northern Ireland Rally Racing Championship in a XR2i and they are introducing a trackday scheme for spectator cars starting soon (run what u brung). Might b fun in the Alp!!

They're also starting a 'run what u brung drag event' after the days racing. If we all go, it'll be fun to see whos Alp is the quickest in a straight line!!

The first day of the new 'run what u brung' apparently went very well. There were all sorts of cars up at it, from the Lax Power brigade to a few very choice motors like an R32 GTR and a couple of Evo's and Scooby's. Didn't get to it myself due to work commitments, but I will get up and give you some first hand info. Wonder what my car'll do the 1/4 mile in? Sub 14 secs did I hear someone say?
