Cavalier GSI too...

They would have had to have got the centre bores machined though, as Vauxhall is 56.1mm and Renault is 60.1mm...

Yep Calibra 16v and Cavalier GSI 2000.

I had them on a Cav Sri when I was a pupster (19 - and a long time ago now).

What the hell are they doing on a GTA though? :?

Wheels...... debate?

Well, yes maybe so!
Funny though, whatever wheels are available how ever cheap/ expensive, they all look bad!?? AveZ also I think don't really look right...

The 310GT (Gr.4) type syle maybe but what wheels do actually suit the GTA??
hmmn....

Not that I am specifying what type exactly but generally the A310 looks less plastic and 80's..... probably because it wasn't.......

Styling...... generally....

Postby a22 » Mon Nov 26, 2007 2:54 am

More thoughts on this subject and maybe create a new thread but generally the A310GT (Gr.4) type cars, you know the ones...? I think do look incredibly good....
The GTA doesn't quite make it but almost..... Strange car to look at .... sometimes it looks right, certain angles, yet other times(angles) it looks like a jazzed up Fuego!!
Not trying to insult it, because I love mine and appreciate it, think it's a lovely car...., the front lights etc reminds me of Ferrari Daytona 365 thing, yet at the same time it still doesn't quite make the level of the wide bodyied A310 things......

well, just an opinion....

I agree that wide bodied A310's look the dogs wedding veg' in a 70's Willy Koenig sort of way. But personally I think the GTA is a much prettier car than either - from whatever angle you look at it.

FWIW the GTA has the same stud pattern as a Chavalier. We used to use a set of Cav wheels on the DeLoreans when their wheels were going off for refurb, and seeing as the Delorean and GTA has the same stud pattern... The offset's totally different tho, of course.
